To add to our sales and client services staff, we have the following opportunities available.Sales RepresentativeLead sales efforts for our market data service and software products, develop new sales opportunities and close sales. Meet with investment management execs to tell them of our services.Career Responsibilities: 1. Pro-actively sell new market data services and software. 2. Target new prospects, existing prospects and clients. 3. Develop and maintain senior/management level client relationships. 4. Meet with clients and prospects for product demonstrations and presentations. Focus: 1. Lead sales efforts to achieve increased product market penetration. 2. Ensure the effective hand-over of accounts to the client services team. 3. Help team members on new ideas and sales strategies. 4. Maintain prospect contact and opportunity data in our sales databases. Required Skills and Knowledge: 1. Bachelor's degree. 2. Proven track record in sales. 3. Superior communication skills and a great team player. Sales reps get a great base/commission/benefits and an unlimited upside! Client Service RepresentativeAs a client service representative, you will help clients get the most from our market data platform. You will do this with on-site presentation/orientation sessions, web and telephone conversations. You will meet key investment management professionals to guide them on the use of the Telemet Platform.Job Description: 1. Pro-actively contact existing clients for orientation and incremental revenue opportunities. 2. Develop and maintain senior/management level client relationships to explore how Telemet can further help their firm. 3. Answer questions on the phone and by email from clients. Help clients make better use of the features of Telemet data services. 4. Schedule and meet in person with key business accounts for orientation and better understanding of their needs. 5. Report to the team leader on client ideas, needs and status on a daily basis Location: Alexandria, Northern Virginia. Required Skills and Knowledge: 1. Bachelor's degree. 2. Familiar with MS Office products. 3. A basic knowledge of the financial markets. 4. Proven track record in client service and financial services. 5.
